   @Iamyoubestfreind Silent as in there is no talking. Traditionally a silent film was performed at a theater with a live orchestra. Although to reach a wider audience they had showings with the orchestral soundtrack played from a recording because not everyone can afford to see it performed live. Seeing the orchestral version was more of a high society night on the town event. So in it’s purest and simplest output a silent film (the actual film reel) was just pictures without sound.

    Love the musical score and every single frame of this film and the little interludes throughout the film are incredibly memorable. In particular the little tune at 4:59 when he takes his smoking break!
